On 17th May 2022, the CCCA3/DCC team organized a consultative meeting of the Climate Change Technical Working Group with the Development Partners on the implementation of Cambodia’s Updated Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) at Hotel Cambodiana. The meeting was led by H.E. Tin Ponlok, Secretary of State of the MoE and the Second Deputy Chairman of the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) and it presented the draft results of the 2021 NDC tracking for approval.

Based on the tacking 44 NDC actions were under implementation and one action has been completed in 2021. Also, 209 million USD finance was received for the implementation from the government and the donor agencies. The participants provided additional information on some donor contributions to be added to the report and some new inputs in terms of the adaptation actions were recorded.  After the meeting the annual results will be rechecked with the ministries and donors and a final annual report of 2021 prepared.
