The Department of Climate Change (DCC), General Directorate of Policy and Strategy (GDPS), and Ministry of Environment (MoE), with the support of the CCCA3, and in partnership with the UNDP, organized a training on the Prevention of and Response to Sexual Harassment, Sexual Exploitation and Abuse for the DCC/CCCA3 on 26th December 2022 at Himawari Hotel. The training was presided over by Her Excellency Prum Sophy, Undersecretary of State of the MoE and Mrs. Alissar Chaker, Resident Representative, UNDP Cambodia. The training aimed to raise awareness and ensure adequate prevention, mitigation, and response measures are in place. At the training, sexual harassment, exploitation and abuse was discussed and the participants also had the chance to share related stories and experiences on the topic. At the end, a wide range of perspectives on how to mitigate and prevent these cases in workplaces and communities was collected.
