On 22 November 2023, from Krong Khemara Phoumin. There was a consultation workshop focused on ‘Modernizing information systems related to climate change phenomenon’, chaired by H.E Phiv Sovuthy - Under secretary of state of MoE and Mr. Orn Sotherith – Vice governor of Koh Kong province. 

This consultation workshop aims to build an objective to identify vulnerability assessment and climate information center. With the support of sub-components below:

  • Component 1: Hazard Mapping and Vulnerability Assessment for Koh Kong Province;
  • Component 2: Integrated Decentralized Climate Change Database for Informed Decision-Making;
  • Component 3: Enhanced Early Warning Systems; and
  • Component 4: climate change resilience and disaster relief service centre.
