At the Ministry of Environment, H.E. Tin Ponlok, Secretary of State had a meeting with H.E. Pedro Zwahlen, Ambassador-Designate of Switzerland to the Kingdom of Cambodia to discuss work with merchants and Swiss non-governmental organizations. The meeting also focused on cooperation between the two Cambodian-Swiss countries on the environmental sections, especially the issue of climate change, focuses on reducing emissions from the energy sector.

On that occasion, H.E. Tin Ponlok thanked the Swiss delegation team for opening a cooperation page with the Ministry of Environment, he highlighted the important work the MoE has and is doing in environmental protection, conservation of biodiversity, and sustainable living. H.E. Secretary of State also highlighted work involving climate modification, waste management, waste recycling, and propagating renewal energy.
