Kick-off meeting on KAP with CDRI-1Phnom Penh - 11 November 2014, Cambodia’s Leading Independent Development Policy Research Institute (CDRI) and Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Environment (CCD) organized a kick-off meeting on Follow up study on the 2011 Understanding Public Perceptions of Climate Change in Cambodia (Knowledge, Attitude, and Practice (KAP) at CDRI with a total 15 participants from CCD, Cambodia Climate Change Alliance (CCCA) and CDRI.

 

Under financial support from CCCA phase2, CDRI is authorized to carry out the survey for the need for continuous public awareness raising about climate change risks, best practices for addressing those risks as well as the need for additional data and analysis in addition to the mechanism exited within Line Ministries and Agencies.

The survey is developed in qualitative and quantitative design employing in-depth interview (a total of 50 policy makers, decision makers and key influencers; and total of 1000 general public in 25 municipality and provinces) and group discussion which methodology similar to the 1st KAP survey.
