19 January 2017, a discussion meeting was held between Director of Department of Climate Change as well as Cambodia Climate Change Alliance programme manager, Mr. Sum Thy, and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) country director, Mr. Nick Beresford. Both parties are met to discuss about strategic interventions on climate change response in Cambodia as well as the progress and challenges of CCCA Phase 2 being implemented from July 2014 until present. A consensus point is met to find possible approaches to mobilize fund from Green Climate Fund, allowing the set up broader scale of climate change response in Cambodia.
