Regional Workshop on Climate Change Vulnerabilities, Social Impacts, and Education for Autonomous Adaptation

The Department of Climate Change of the General Directorate of Policy and Strategy (GDPS), Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with Economic Research Institute for ASEAN and East Asia (ERIA), organized a Regional Workshop on Climate Change Vulnerabilities, Social Impacts, and Education for Autonomous Adaptation between September 12-14, 2022 at Angkor Paradise Hotel, Siem Reap.

During the three-day workshop, the participants acquired knowledge on vulnerability assessment and adaptation at national and local levels and they also shared lessons learned and experiences on autonomous adaptation. At the end of the workshop, the participants had chance to strengthen their practical knowledge during the field visit organized to vulnerable areas where successful local adaptation measures were practiced.
