On 30th March 2022, the DCC and CCCA3 attended a virtual meeting with the Royal University of Phnom Penh (RUPP)’s research team along with the officers of the Ministry of Rural Development (MRD). The meeting was to seek support and review the capacity needs assessment related to the tools and methodologies to assess losses, damages and adaptation costing for rural infrastructures of the research project “Appropriate costing methods of climate change adaptation in infrastructure development: experimental studies for road and related infrastructure projects in Cambodia supported by CCCA3.

At the meeting, various presentations were given on the research, key concerns, draft tools, and research methodology. The MRD showed their strong support for the research activities proposed. On 14th March 2022 the project team organized another meeting with the MPWT and the practical side of the support to the research activities was discussed in detail.
