On March 17, 2025, a Preparatory Meeting for the Technical Sectoral Consultation on Industrial Processes and Product Utilization, Industrial Waste Management, and Energy Consumption in Industry was held at MISTI. The meeting was chaired by H.E. Ngeth Vibol, Director General of Industry, and attended by representatives from MISTI, UNDP, the EU, and NDC project officers, with a total of 15 participants.

Objective of the Meeting

The meeting aimed to review and discuss materials for the Technical Sectoral Consultation Meeting scheduled for March 21, 2025.

1.Existing measures under NDC 2.0 and draft new measures for NDC 3.0 were presented and discussed.

2. MISTI will conduct an internal review of measures under NDC 2.0 and the draft measures for NDC 3.0.

3. Gathering the relevant data for consultants to analyze and provide recommendations for new measures under NDC 3.0.
