From 6-7th April 2023, the DCC with collaboration of the UNICEF and USAID’s Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance organized consultation workshop on the Development of the Children’s Climate Risk Index for Cambodia.

The workshop aimed to introduce Child Risk Data Initiative and the Children’s Climate and Disaster Risk model (CCDRM) approach and adapt the CCDRM subnational risk assessment model to the Cambodia country context.

The workshop delivered crucial presentations regarding the CCDRM related approaches and mechanism to mainstream the CCDRM subnational risk assessment model to Cambodia country contexts, perspectives and practical knowledge of the model made by related stakeholders, and presentation on relevant data and information sources as well as step to be done for mainstreaming the model to Cambodia context.
