Cambodia's Children's Climate Risk Index (CCRI)

Cambodia has developed the children’s climate risk index (CCRI) at the commune level, a sub-national adaptation of the global children’s climate risk index using the global Index for Risk Management (INFORM) model. The index provides the first comprehensive overview of Cambodia’s children’s exposure to climate and environmental hazards, shocks and stresses and their vulnerabilities at the sub-national level.

Cambodia's Children's Climate Risk Index (CCRI)

Cambodia's Children's Climate Risk Index is composed of two main pillars that are indexed and combined into the final index: Pillar 1 looking at Children’s exposure to climate and environmental hazards, shocks and stresses and Pillar 2 looking at child vulnerability across social services essential for the well-being of children. Children included in the analysis are children under 18 years old.
