Mr. Sum Thy
Mr. Sum Thy has been working related to climate change for more than 10 years. He is currently the Director of Climate Change Department of the Ministry of Environment and the Climate Change Alliance (CCCA) Manager. He plays an important role as a coordinating officer with the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and National Focal Point for the Inter-governmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). He has participated in and coordinate the preparation of Cambodia Climate Change Policy and facilitate Cambodian Delegation to participate in international climate change negotiation.
Mr. Sum Thy was a researcher awarded by Eco-Frontier Fellowship of the Technical Supporting Unit (TSU) of the IPCC in Japan and he graduated from a postgraduate on environmental management and a master of development management.
