Phnom Penh, 05 July 2019: The Department of Climate Change of the National Council for Sustainable Development (NCSD) organized the Training on Operational Manual for the National Designated Authority of Cambodia to the Green Climate Fund, presided over by H.E. Chuop Paris, Deputy Secretary General of NCSD and Chair of the Climate Change Technical Working Group. The training has three objectives: 1) To appraise entities as Direct Access Entity via the accreditation procedure; 2) To prepare concept notes and funding proposals; and 3) To appraise concept notes and funding proposals via the no-objection procedures. The training had 50 participants from line ministries (climate change technical working group members), civil society organization, development partners and the private sector.
